A beautiful and "pleasant" town to live in.
But unfortunately Pleasantview also has some children who don't have parents,.
and these are the stories about them -
The Adoptables.
And here they are,
fending for themselves on an empty lot

Rie, Melanie, Brad, Jess, Shaye, Sammy, Hunter and Nicole.
Didn't take long for the Social Worker to show up and take them away.
And they lived with the Social Workers until the day
arrived when they were finally adopted by a loving parent/parents.
And that's the Million Dollar Question -
WHO adopted the Adoptables?
Well, let it be a mystery no more!
Here's the run-down of who adopted who.
(Alphabetically)
No doubt you can all recognize who this is -
even with her back to us it's obvious to see what Brad's new mom
is the infamous Dina Caliente!!
Dina was super excited to welcome Brad into her home
and into her life as her son!
The two of them hit it off great right from the start!
There wasn't anything the two of them couldn't talk about.
Not only did Brad get a loving mother that night -
he also got a super cool Aunt - Nina lives there too!
Brad fell in love with his new puppy, Snickers, that Dina had delivered
to the house that very same day.
He also made friends with Dina's cat, Snookie.
They spent Brad's first night there
playing chess and getting to know each other.
When Brad saw the very cool bedroom Dina had all ready for him
he knew he was the luckiest kid in Pleasantview!
And he made a good friend the next day when he brought
Alexander Goth home.
Brad has it pretty darn good!

Hunter was super nervous about meeting his new family.
He was glad the Social Worker didn't just drop him off and leave.
The house looked so dark, almost like it was abandoned.
He had to fight the urge to turn around and run back to the Social Worker.
He took a deep breath and walked slowly towards the front steps,...
Out of nowhere a burglar jumped out at him!
He wanted to scream but couldn't find his voice!
Just as he was about to jump out of the burglar's clutches and
run to safety with the Social Worker, the burglar began to laugh.
Suddenly Hunter realized,...
This wasn't a burglar,,...
It was his new Mom, Cassandra Goth.
She's working towards being a Criminal Mastermind and just as Hunter
was arriving, she was heading off to work.
She couldn't hang out with him long so he had to
go inside the house all by himself.
Although he wasn't all by himself out there after Cassandra left.
There were "others" roaming around the property.
He ran into the house, relieved to see everything lit up
and not scary like he'd thought it would be.
Morti was the first to greet him and welcome him into the Goth family!
Morti had just been aged down to an adult that morning
so he was in a very playful mood,
Hunter took an instant liking to his "grandfather" and knew
that life would be very interesting as a member of the Goth clan.
Alexander was next to greet him and the two of them
spent the entire evening talking, telling jokes to one another
and playing darts - Hunter LOVED having a brother!

with a criminal mother, an aged down grandpa and a lot of
ghosts floating all around the grounds!
Jess wasn't too nervous about her new family -
she could tell by looking at the house it was going to be a good place to live.
And when she saw this Sim -
she knew she hit the jackpot when it came to mothers.
This is La Shawn Cameron
La Shawn was so excited to be able to adopt Jess!!!
The two of them got along super well.
Jess couldn't have been happier.
There were a lot of people waiting to meet her when she got there too!
This is Jess' new dad - Goopy!
He and La Shawn were only engaged at this time.
They got married soon after Jess was adopted.
And Brandi Broke lived there too -
her and La Shawn are cousins.
(A lot of people don't know that)
So that meant that Beau lived there too.
And Dustin!
And there was another room mate in the house too -
this is Jill Flieg.
Jess got along super well with everyone.
Beau and Dustin were like brothers and Brandi became her "Aunt Brandi"
She liked Jill a lot too and felt bad that she was only living
there temporarily, (until she had enough $ for her own place).
And Goopy is a great father to her.

Melanie wasn't nervous at all when it came to meeting her family.
Or if she was, she was really good at not showing it!
And what better Sim to have as a dad than another ginger-head -
Daniel Pleasant!!
Daniel and Mary-Sue had recently divorced
adding Melanie to the family was very, very special to him.
The two of them bonded in a strong way from that very first night!
And she ADORED having two teenage sisters!!
Lilith
Angela
The girls prepared a special dinner to celebrate getting
a new little sister and everyone enjoyed getting to know one another.
After dinner, Daniel wanted Melanie all to himself so he could make
sure the two of them got to know each other well.
What better way than to play chess together?
Melanie LOVED the bedroom that Lilith and Angela
put together special for her!
The next morning Melanie got to know Angela a little better.
And then while they waited for Daniel to make breakfast,
she got to watch the "Lilith and Angela Show" -
the one where her new teen sisters can't agree on anything!!
Melanie found that talking about ladybugs worked really well
in getting her new sisters to stop the bickering.

Nicole was excited, happy, scared and nervous
all at the same time when it came to meeting her new family.
As she was walking towards the house, this Sim was leaving the house.
Unfortunately it was a bit of unfortunate timing -
John and Jennifer Burb had just divorced each other and Jennifer
was leaving just as Nicole was joining the family.
John had a heavy heart,...
,..but he didn't let it stop him from giving Nicole
a BIG loving and happy welcome into the family!
The divorce had come out of the blue
and John felt very bad that he couldn't spend the entire evening with
Nicole on her first night there but he had to take care of some legal matters
concerning the divorce but he made sure Nicole got a great big loving hug
before he got tied up on the phone with his lawyer.
At first Nicole felt really sad that John wasn't going to be able to
hang out with her but then Lucy welcomed her into the family
and she helped Nicole feel a lot better about things.
The two of them became BEST friends as soon as they met!
And Nicole helped Lucy get through a real hard night too -
watching her parents fight and then divorce was real tough for her.
The girls were very grateful to have each other!!
And things got better as each day passed.

Rie was MORTIFIED when it came to meeting her new family!
She almost refused to walk towards the house at all.
But this Sim wasn't about to let that happen!
Yep, Rie was adopted by Darren Dreamer!
At first she wasn't even going to let her new dad give her a hug.
But he was just so sweet and nice she couldn't resist.
His hug helped melt all her fears away and after they talked
for a little while she thought he was the coolest Sim she'd ever met!
That is until she met THIS Sim -
her new big brother, Dirk!!
Suddenly she was the happiest Sim kid in all of Pleasantview!!
She was soooooo glad Darren chose her to adopt!
Darren even baked up a delicious chocolate cake to serve in her honor!
But something strange began happening while they are their cake.
Lamps began floating above desks, lights flickered
and the water in the bathroom turned on with no one in there!
There was someone else in the house that Rie hadn't met yet,...

Sammy was a little bit nervous about meeting her new family.
She wasn't worried so much about them liking her -
she was more worried if she would like them!
The last thing she wanted was some boring family,...
Well, Sammy found out right away that her new Mom is anything but boring!
Yep, that's Bella!
And yes, Bella was abducted by aliens and she became so close
and attached to the aliens she lived with that she adopted four alien kids!
Sammy had FOUR new brothers and sisters!
No one knows Bella is back in Pleasantview -
her memory of everyone is pretty much gone so she likes to
hide and not let anyone know she's back.
Getting alien brothers and sisters was the BEST thing
that could ever happen to Sammy!!
This is her oldest brother, Alon
And oldest sister, Cosmos
And she has a brother exactly her age, Orion
And Sammy had a new playful sister that's just a little bit younger -
her name is Digit.
Her and Orion hit it off great and he filled her in on all
the kids in the hood that are their age.
Boring family?
NO WAY!
Sammy never knew she could be so happy!
Her first day in school she made best friends with Beau Broke!!

And yes, just like all the other kids, I was really nervous
about going into my new home too.
It wasn't very big,..and it was kinda weird,..not like a real house.
And that's because my new house was actually a Bachelor Pad!
Yep, my new dad was none other than Don Lothario!
He looked kinda surprised when I walked in,...
like maybe he was expecting a puppy instead of a kid.
I didn't know what to think?!
But then he gave me a great big Dad Hug and we were BFF's!!!
Of course the first thing my new dad did was feed me something yummy!
But then I noticed someone outside looking in through the window at us -
and it was a scary looking woman!
VERY SCARY!!
Don explained that it was Cassandra Goth
and that she was mad at him for not marrying her.
A bit too much information for me to handle at such a young age,
but I did my best to understand and not be scared.
Even though she was the scariest Sim I'd ever seen!!
Then he told me to go upstairs and check out
the bedroom he put together for me.
WOW!!
Did my new Dad go over-board or what?!!
But then isn't that the Don Lothario way???
I loved my new room and everything in it -
and I loved my new dad too.
After I got into bed that night he came in and talked to me
until I was really tired and told me
the most wild, funny stories I'd ever heard!
They seemed like made-up stories but then they seemed
like they were real stories about his life too -
it was hard to tell, but it sure was a good and safe feeling
having him there until I fell asleep.
That scary Cassandra Goth looking in the windows
was a frightening thing for a kid.
